Welcome to the very first Tuesdays With Lazerbeak post of 2018! I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing end of the year. In case you missed the big Doomtree Year In Review you can catch up on everything Doomtree-related in 2017 right HERE. Things are already ramping up like crazy at Doomtree HQ in the new year. The beginning of the first-ever Shredders tour kicks off this week and things are getting way buck. You can catch P.O.S, Sims, Paper Tiger and myself in Seattle this Thursday (1/11), Portland on Friday (1/12), San Francisco on Saturday (1/13), and sunny Los Angeles on Sunday (1/14) right after the Vikings destroy the Saints in football. Check out theis silly promo video that we put together with Adam Dunn to let you know about all the cities that we’re headed to, and then grab your tickets right HERE.

Oh man, it’s gonna be so fun. Make sure to hit up your peoples in whatever of those towns you have them in and let them know to come out and party with us. Next week we’ll be hitting up Madison and Duluth before making a quick pit stop back home on January 20th for Red Bull’s huge Crashed Ice After Party at the Palace Theatre in St. Paul. Can’t wait for this one. Check out the details below and grab your tickets right HERE.

Here’s the latest Shredders music video courtesy of director James Gundersen in case you missed it last month in all the holiday mayhem. One of my favorites off the album and definitely one of my favorites to perform live. Here’s just a taste of what we have in store for you with these shows.

So pumped to be bringing out our good friend and rap comrade Astronautalis on all these tour dates as well. Check out the full list of January and February tour dates below, and then make sure to grab them tickets up right HERE. Bring all your friends and go nutz with us. These are gonna be the best.

In album news, Dessa is working like crazy in preparation for the release of her new full-length Chime on February 23rd via Doomtree Records (duh). Last month we premiered the second single from the project. It’s called “Fire Drills” and it’s a total blaster. Check it out below if you missed it.

And don’t forget about the crazy Chime Pre-Order that we’ve got going on at the Doomtree Webstore. Standard and Deluxe packages are available and they’re jam-packed with all sorts of insanely exclusive and incredibly rad things. Check out the Deluxe Pre-Order details below and pick up your copy right HERE.

Here’s a quick shot of Dessa testing out the durability of the limited-edition clear vinyl. I think we’re good there. Tons more Dessa news coming in the following weeks so definitely stay tuned.

I produced a couple of one-off singles that came out towards the end of the year. First up is “Knock Knock” by our friend Input. The two of us actually have a full project in the works that should be seeing the light of day later this year. In the meantime check out the first single below and grab it off Bandcamp HERE.

I also collaborated with homie Anonymous on this new “Brass Knuckles” track. It’s a single off of his new Reckless Winter project. Check out the song below and grab the whole album right HERE.

Boom! That does it for Doomtree-related news this week, so let’s jump into the Bonus Jams. Below are a list of songs that I’ve been bumping hard the last few weeks. Starting things off with the return of The Hold Steady who just released this surprise split-single during their weeklong NYC residency. Real good to hear them back.

The Hold Steady – “A Snake In The Shower”

And on the rock tip, Titus Andronicus just announced a new album and dropped this epic 10-minute single. Wouldn’t expect anything less from them at this point. Check out “Number One (In New York)” below.

Psymun has been on a roll lately and from the looks of his solo set last week at the Turf Club he’s got a whole slew of new solo material that he’s putting together. While we wait for that you can check out this awesome loosie “CRUMBLING” below.

Psymun – “CRUMBLING”

Kehlani had one of the best years ever in 2017 and something tells me this year will be a whole lot of the same. Here’s a new one-off single called “Already Won” to kick things off. She’s got bars too.

Kehlani – “Already Won”

Loving this new River Tiber song a whooooooooole lot.

River Tiber – “Patience”

Last week saw the ULTRA SUEDE crew dropped a brand new single featuring the homie Dwynell Roland. Very excited about this new crew and all the new music they’ve been working on. Definitely keep an eye and an ear out for more music soon.

ULTRA SUEDE ft. Dwynell Roland – “Who The Hell Am I?”

Lex Allen dropped an absolute heater with this “Venus and Serena” song. Great video too, check it out below.

Super pumped to see Burna Boy dropping some more new music lately. I loved his last project and this new joint “Sekkle Down” with J Hus is the best.

Loving this new Ozuna world smash hit with the Cardi B feature too. She’s everywhere!

Ozuna – “Modelo” ft. Cardi B

Been bumping the newest Jeezy album a ton in the car. This man has definitely still got it. The whole record slams and is nice and short. Perfectly paced. Highly recommended.

Jeezy – “In A Major Way” ft. Payroll Giovanni

And lastly, our friend and MN’s own Travla has been releasing a bunch of new music as of late. I’m really feeling this “Move Around” track. Excited to see what he does next.

BAM! That’s it for Bonus Jams. I’ll leave you with a handful of Bonus Baby Pics since it’s been a minute. We had an absolutely bonkers holiday break where we celebrated (count em) SIX SEPARATE CHRISTMASES. Good lord that was a lot of Christmases. This was the first year that all the kids were old enough to get out of their minds and it was pretty incredible to watch their unwavering enthusiasm throughout the week. Here’s our Party of Five.

And here’s Cam hanging tough with Gucci Mane. Legend Recognize Legend.

Lou has turned into a total shapeshifter as of late. His favorite thing in the world is to play dress up, and he got into some pretty amazing outfits over the break. Here’s just a smattering of his different looks.

Penny was STUDENT OF THE MONTH in December and got to go to this special party in the auditorium and get a cool ribbon. I’ve never seen her so proud. She’s been absolutely bawsing her way through kindergarten. Love this kid so much.

And just in case anyone forgot, it’s still No Kings.

Alright, that does it for this first post of the new year. I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful week and I can’t wait to see a ton of you on the West Coast in the next few days as we kick off the first leg of the Shredders tour. Remember, tell your friends in Seattle, Portland, SF, and LA to come out and rage with us. It’s gonna be monumental. See you next Tuesday!
