P.O.S, Sims, and Mictlan will be playing the Warped Tour this Sunday in Minneapolis. All three sets will be accompanied by the lovely Paper Tiger. The event will be held against the picturesque backdrop of the Metrodome parking lot. Do check it out.

Despite what you may have heard or read, this year’s Hip Hop & Harmony festival is cancelled. Don’t go to Harmony Park this weekend. There is nothing for you there. Stay home. There is undoubtedly a patch of woods near your house where you can go eat mushrooms and juggle a stick, then get to sleep in your own bed. It all works out.

On Friday the Thirteenth Doomtree will play the least- scary show possible when we help celebrate the Electric Fetus’ 40th anniversary at First Ave. 40 years in the independent record retailing business is a serious accomplishment, especially considering that 40 years ago popular music consisted almost entirely of a guy with an accordian hawking cure-all tonics.
