In other Four Fists news, the pre-order officially ended last weekend. Thanks again to everyone who picked up a copy. International orders ship out today, and US orders will ship on Thursday, so you should be seeing everything real soon. Dessa is back in town for a little bit and refuses to sleep ever. She will be celebrating the release of a new poetry chapbook at the Walker Art Center this Thursday (10/3), with special guests Aby Wolf, Sims, and Taj Raj all performing as well. The show is already well beyond sold out, but you can go HERE at 7:00 CST on Thursday to stream the entire event. The chapbook is initially being released in a small run through Rain Taxi, but we’ll be announcing details next month on larger scale availability through Doomtree. We’ll keep you posted on all of that.
Our very own Mike Mictlan has a couple of Midwest dates coming up this month. Next Thursday (10/10) he’ll be in Chicago playing on a seriously stacked bill alongside Prof and Sean Anonymous. Check out the flyer below and grab your tickets HERE. This show is gonna rule.

Now it’s time for a little producer spotlight for a change (rappers take all the shine). Cecil and I have been getting together once a week since the beginning of the year to work on a bunch of collaborative beats. A lot of those will be going towards the new crew record that we’re about to start making, but we’ve also been trying our hand at a few remixes. One of which is being released today on the new Matt and Kim Lightning Remixes album.
