Hey everyone, I’m excited to share this record with you. It’s been a while since I put anything out so I hope you like it! I’m at the point where I have heard these tracks so many times that I don’t really know what they sound like anymore. But hey, it’s fun, it’s all part of the process. I’ve been working on some of these tracks for 4 or 5 years now and some of them I made just last year. I don’t often make music very quickly, but I wish I did, it would be a very helpful skill to have. I find that when I have a chunk of time to work on music I have to evaluate whether I’m in “start mode” or “finish mode”. I prefer “start mode”, it’s the most fun for sure, however, “finish mode” often feels more productive. Occasionally I’ll try both only to find out that I’m in “neither mode” (The worst mode). So many of these tracks I started long ago and they sat there half-done for a while. That is basically how this record developed, I found enough things I think go together and that was that. To be fair I recognize that it could be argued that these don’t “go together”, but whatever, that’s one reason I called it ALL OVER THE PLACE.

I think this record is pretty different for me, a bit darker for sure, but it’s been fun exploring the different styles of electronic music I grew up loving. It really goes ALL OVER THE PLACE, I mean, there are some bangers for sure, and there are a handful of tracks that don’t even have drums, so that’s cool. Anywho, check it out when you have a chance, and I hope you dig it. Also, I hope you are well, I hope you did something fun this week, ok talk soon.
