Hey! Welcome back to another Tuesdays With Lazerbeak. Spring is fiiiiiinally upon us and that means it’s time for another round of the Doomtree Spring Clothing Line! We’ve got a bunch of new seasonally friendly gear up on the webstore starting RIGHT NOW.
Let’s start out with something we’ve never done before: Our very first Doomtree Mystery Grab Bag! We’re cleaning out our inventory for the summer and this Grab Bag is chock full of tons of serious gear. For $14.99 you get three random CDs from the Doomtree catalog, one random shirt of your size, tons of stickers, a Wings & Teeth temporary tattoo, and a bunch of other Doomtree related odds and ends (anything from shoelaces to coozies to sunglasses). Truly the definition of the phrase “bang for your buck.” Click the image for more details.
Up next is our first ever raglan style 3/4 sleeve shirt. Black sleeves with the iconic No Kings logo smack dab in the middle. Might have to consider sponsoring a softball league with these bad boys.
Here’s a new big text shirt with the classic Doomtree “grunge” font all huge and vertical on a sweet navy tee.
After all the requests, we’ve finally made a No Kings patch! A 3 1/2″ circular patch perfect for all of your jean vests and backpacks.
And we’ve re-upped on a bunch of last year’s Spring gear like tanktops, coozies, sunglasses, and windbreakers. Click each image below for more details.
BAM! There you have it: The Doomtree 2014 Spring Clothing Line. Click HERE to go to the Webstore and check it all out. And don’t forget we now have Dessa’s Castor, The Twin standard vinyl LP fully stocked and ready to ship as well!
OK, switching gears. Let’s get into some upcoming Doomtree related show news real quick. Sims hopped on a plane this past Sunday and headed to Europe for a two week tour of Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic! Everything kicks off tomorrow in Vienna, so check out all the cities and dates below, and help us spread the word if you live anywhere nearby or have friends out that way. ‘Preciate you.
And for those of you closer to Minneapolis than Budapest, we’ve got the 2014 Soundset Festival going down this Sunday, May 25th. I’ll be headlining the Fifth Element stage with Lizzo this year, as well as watching one miiiiiiillion other awesome rappers rapping throughout the day. Plus we’ll have a big Doomtree booth down there with all the new Spring gear and much much more. Should be a great time as always. Grab your tickets HERE and click the flyer for all the sweet deetz. Hope to see a bunch of you down there!
Speaking of Lizzo, the LIZZOBANGERS album is about to get a big time re-release via Totally Gross National Product (North America) and Virgin EMI (worldwide). We decided to throw a couple new songs onto this version, and TIME Magazine world premiered one of them just last week. Read what they had to say about it HERE and check out “Luv It” below. Me and Ryan Olson on the collabo beat. Excited to debut this one live for the first time on Sunday!

More great Lizzo news: LIZZOBANGERS is getting released on vinyl for the first time ever! You can pre-order your copy with the two new bonus tracks now from TGNP right HERE. Check out Lizzo’s recent Daytrotter session HERE too if you haven’t heard it yet.
OK! I think that’s about as much news as I can handle for one week. Let’s get into some big time Local Bonus Jams!!! First up is Har Mar Superstar with an incredible new video for his single “Restless Leg.” There are singing puppets all over this thing, need I say more?
Up next is the young gunner deM atlaS with a video for his first Rhymesayers single “All We Got.” Really liking this track, perfect windows down driving around jam.
The god Sage Francis has a new album coming out on June 3rd, and our very own Cecil Otter produced two beats on it. Check out this fake press conference that Sage held recently, and jump forward to around the 3:00 mark to get a sneak peek at the Cecil Otter produced “Pressure Cooker.”
Now it’s time to give the producers some. Jack Spencer is back with Volume 4 of his ongoing Gimme Noise Beattape, continuing to showcase the wide range of production talent we have to offer in the great state of MN. This edition features tracks from the likes of Tru, Moodie Black, Cory Grindberg, Katrah-Quey, Bionik, Brandon Allday, Budah Tye, and Dimitry Killstorm. Check out the whole thing below for FREE.99.

Speaking of producers AND Soundset (this epic Segue Streak will never die!!!), here’s a preview video for the big sample challenge that Last of the Record Buyers puts on every year. This year it’s Tou, Adept, Taylor Rave, Adriatic, and Taylor Madrigal all flipping different video game themes. Check it out below.
Alright, the never ending stream of Local Bonus Jams forges onward. I’ll leave you with a couple Bonus Baby Pics for the fam before calling it a day. The TWINZ are officially two months old and growing like crazy. Their eyes are open a ton now, which is generally awesome, except when they attempt to physically intimidate us into feeding them again, as seen below.
Here’s Lou in simpler times keeping it suuuuuuper laid back, rocking that new No Kings circular patch like a champ. There’s a reason he got the name Laidback Lou.
Can’t forget about Young Nelpz. Here’s Penny rocking a pretty cool pair of overalls in a rare photo with her hair actually tamed and parted. So many TEETH!
And lastly, here’s Sophia Eris and Lizzo at my place under the false pretenses of practicing for Soundset. I’m getting better at suckering people into babysitting all the time.
And thaaaaaaaat does it for real. I hope you all have a wonderful week. Looking forward to seeing a ton of you out at Soundset on Sunday, and if not, next Tuesday for sure!
