Happy early Halloween people. Ended up carving pumpkins over the weekend and decided to put my personal mission statement out there for all the neighborhood to ponder. At my bachelor party last year I was given a list of tasks to complete before the end of the evening (hi-five everyone in the bar, etc.) and one of the most challenging … Read More
This month marks the ninth year that I have been making rap beats. Man, I can’t believe how fast time flies sometimes. Figured I’d take a breather from all the lists of things that are awesome, and instead just put together a post on my early years of beat making. I started tracking vocals for my first ever solo record yesterday. It’s gonna be a little different (light on the lava bangers this time around) but I’m really excited. Dessa and Stef were kind enough to come down and lend their ears and support. And that’s Joe Mabbott (engineer extraordinaire) making sure everything sounds awesome. Keep you posted homies.
My 93 year old grandpa, “Guts” Mader, at the presidential inauguration. The man has spent his entire life immersed in Chicago politics. They gave him a front row seat. The true definition of the phrase Legend Recognize Legend.
